This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit the PR marketing website (“Site”). This policy applies only to the Site and not to the PR macOS application, which has its own privacy policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics collects:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referral source (how you arrived at the Site)
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device category
  • Anonymous usage patterns and navigation flow

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. Analytics tracking is disabled on staging environments.

The Site does not:

  • Require account creation or login
  • Collect names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Process payments or store financial data
  • Access your GitHub account, repositories, or code
  • Use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels

The Site uses only cookies set by Google Analytics for aggregate traffic analysis. These are first-party cookies with the _ga and _gid prefixes. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension to block Google Analytics without affecting your ability to view the Site.

Under Japan’s amended Telecommunications Business Act, we are required to disclose information about data transmitted to third parties when you visit the Site.

5. Compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information

Instoll Inc. complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (“APPI”). Because the Site does not collect personally identifiable information and uses only anonymized analytics data, the Site’s data processing does not involve the handling of personal information as defined under APPI.

If you believe Instoll Inc. holds any personal information about you, you may submit a request for disclosure, correction, or deletion through https://instoll.com. The supervisory authority for personal information protection in Japan is the Personal Information Protection Commission (https://www.ppc.go.jp/).

Analytics data is used solely to:

  • Understand which pages and content are most useful
  • Identify technical issues (e.g., high bounce rates on specific pages)
  • Make informed decisions about Site improvements

We do not sell, rent, or share analytics data with third parties beyond Google’s standard analytics processing.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated, non-identifiable reports may be retained indefinitely.

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this policy shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
